In order to preserve the vaidic traditions and culture, we need to support the administration of veda patshalas all across the country.
In veda patshalas the students are admitted in the age group of 8-11 years, after having performed upanayanam. They stay on campus for 10 years and are properly trained in all the 4 vedas in an organized manner giving importance to the traditional system of Vedic learning by uccharan (the utterance of teacher for upadesha) and anuchaaran (uttering two times by disciples following the way of the preceptor). 21st Century veda patshalas also expand curriculum to include Maths, English, Computer Science. Examinations of most veda patshalas are conducted annually by Ministry of HRD, Department of Education; Government of India.
